Nice to Meet You.
Nice to Meet You.
Hey there! I’m Jasmine Oceguera- the plant-loving home cook behind Plantify Nutrition. I created this space to help you feel empowered, more confident, and more inspired in the kitchen. I believe healthy eating doesn’t have to feel strict or complicated- it can be colorful, comforting, and genuinely fun.
My curiosity about health and wellness started early. When I was about twelve, a family road trip took us past a massive commercial cattle feedlot, and it was the first time I really, truly thought about where our food comes from, and how our food choices affect other living beings. That moment stuck with me. Since then, I’ve spent years learning how food affects our our health, our planet, and the animals we share it with.
Today, Plantify reflects everything I’ve learned along the way. I believe most of us feel our best when we’re eating real, whole foods, especially plants, and when our routines support us instead of overwhelm us. For me, that means choosing ingredients that feel nourishing, energizing, and aligned with how I want to feel in my body and my life.
At its core, Plantify is about eating in a way that helps you thrive, feel grounded, and reconnect with the joy of cooking. It’s not about perfection, labels, or all-or-nothing thinking. It’s about finding the approach that truly supports you, your well-being, and your peace of mind- one colorful, nourishing meal at a time.
The Plantify Philosophy
Whole-Food
Whole-food eating is one of the simplest ways to feel better without overhauling your entire life. When you focus on foods that are close to their natural form- think vegetables, fruits, whole grains, beans, nuts, seeds- you’re feeding your body the nutrients it actually recognizes and knows what to do with. Whole foods give you steady energy, clearer digestion, better mood support, and the kind of nourishment that actually lasts longer than an hour.
And the best part? You don’t have to count, obsess, or micromanage anything. When your meals are built from real, colorful ingredients, eating well starts to feel easy, supportive, and surprisingly delicious. Whole-food eating is less about restriction and more about giving your body what it’s been craving all along: the good stuff.
Plant-Based
Plant-based eating isn’t a label- it’s a strategy for feeling amazing while still enjoying the foods you love. When you fill your plate with plants, you naturally bring in more fiber, antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals- AKA the things that help your body thrive. Plants are nutrient-dense, flavorful, and incredibly versatile, meaning you can recreate any craving in a way that feels lighter, brighter, and deeply satisfying.
Plus, plant-based meals are often simpler, more affordable, and more colorful (goodbye beige dinners). Choosing plants more often supports your health, helps the planet, and lets you explore flavors you might never have tried otherwise. It’s not about perfection- it’s about discovering just how good you can feel when plants play a bigger role in your everyday meals.
A Little About Me
I live in sunny New Mexico with my husband and our three silly dogs- Roscoe, Ori, and Stella. When I’m not in the kitchen, you can find me performing with my belly dance troupe, hiking mountain trails, or playing World of Warcraft. I’m also a nutrition podcast aficionado, tea lover (chai or matcha, depending on the day), and unapologetic tech enthusiast who loves working on creative projects.
As for food, my passion runs deep. I’ve always been drawn to the creativity, comfort, and connection it brings. Over the years, I’ve learned how to channel that love into meals that support my well-being and help me feel energized, grounded, and inspired. Exploring global cuisines and transforming them into nourishing, plant-based dishes is one of my favorite ways to create- it’s how I bring together flavor, ease, and a whole lot of color in the kitchen.
